I bought this for my inside cat, thinking it would give her some exercise. It gave me more exercise by having to manually turn it on and off. The tail under the cover would get stuck after going only a few inches, not going all around the circle. In the description, it never mentions that you need 3 C batteries to run it. The batteries only lasted a day and a half, using it about 15 minutes each time for about 3 times a day. I considered getting rechargeable batteries, but that wouldn't solve the problem of me having to get up and turning it on and off manually. I went for the buy one, get one free, paying for separate shipping. The bill came to $33. So, I paid $19.99 for 1 and got 1 free. Paid about $15.00 shipping for both of them. After deciding it was not keeping my cat interested, I packed it up to return it. The cheapest to return it was $12.00. Let's do the arithmetic, $33 for the 2 toys and shipping and $12 to return them. I only get the price of the cats meow returned which means the original $15 plus the $12 to return it will get me a credit on my card of $19.99 hopefully. Now remember, I paid $27 in postage receiving and returning it. Actuality, I only get $6 back. How did I come to that amount. $33 original purchase minus $27 postage comes to $6 actual return. Rip off all around. Hope I saved you the trouble of going through what I did.
