The first time I discovered DEATH WISH COFFEE Dark Roast Coffee was in August of 2017, and I thought it was the best coffee I'd ever tasted. It was so smooth and clean tasting compared to coffee that I was used to drinking from the grocery store that i never thought I would ever get tired of it. Death Wish coffee is expensive, however, and therefore I only drank occasionally. Then recently earlier this year I ran across this huge bag available for Subscribe and Save with a coupon on top of the Subscribe and Save discounted price, and I thought I would be drinking it all of the time. Instead I found myself overlooking it for other coffee I drink. Why? It seemed like that every time I drank Death Wish coffee I would get a delayed headache later in the afternoon. Additionally, a subtle aftertaste would linger in my mouth. This would happen no matter how little I drank. After not drinking any for months and deciding to try it again this last weekend, I decided to throw a mostly full bag of this coffee in the trash. I don't know if something has changed about the coffee or maybe I've changed, but I just don't enjoy it anymore.
