I've been using this trimmer for the better part of a year now, and I'm not impressed. I figured a corded trimmer would be more consistent and powerful than the battery-operated products I've owned in the past. I was wrong. I mainly use it for trimming my beard, and it's an incredibly long and drawn out process using this trimmer. I have to pass the blade over the same areas over and over and over again to get it to clean everything up. Prior to this, I tried out the Wahl Peanut (didn't love it mainly because the blade is small and it doesn't have short enough guides), and before that, the Stainless Steel Lithium Ion Plus Beard Trimmer #9818. The #9818 performed phenomenally better, despite having a lower Amazon rating for some reason. I might consider picking it up again. I'm going to be punting this lousy trimmer into the trash bin and beginning the process of looking for the perfect trimmer once again. For anyone reading, I've also tried the Philips Norelco Beard Trimmer BT7215/49, and the Conair Men i-Stubble. Both were a bit too complicated and gimmicky for my personal taste and also wore out fairly quickly, even with adequate lubrication. And Wahl, if you are ever reading this - your product portfolio is way too large. I wish you would focus on a few simple products that you stood behind instead of just showering the market with a hail storm of mostly shoddy products, leaving customers to sort out the good from the bad. This comes from someone who has owned 6+ different models over the years and only really LOVED 1 of them.
