★★☆☆☆
No story, not engaging, there are better resources
I really disliked this book. The formatting is inconsistent. There is no story. It feels like someone just brainstormed about racism and threw it together. It was not cohesive or interesting enough to get the conversation going like I wanted. Incidentally, my child also had zero interest in ‘Death Is Stupid’. For the topic of systemic racism, I would recommend “Something Bad Happened In Our Town” by Celano, Collins, and Hazzard instead.
