I previously gave these socks a 5/5 rating but have updated to rate them 2/5. This review is for Hanes Men's ComfortBlend Ankle Socks (Pack of 6) in Black. Hanes Men's ComfortBlend Ankle Socks, Black, 6-12 (Pack of 6) The previous socks that I received are my favorite ankle socks that I have ever tried. This most recent order was completely different. I'm not sure if Hanes changed their product or if Amazon is shipping a cheaper version of the same product. Both packages came with identical labels (see images below) but the newer socks were all black on the bottom not grey (like the product image on Amazon). Also, the previous socks were 71% cotton, 26% polyester, 1% latex, 1% spandex, 1% nylon while the newer socks are 44% cotton,44% polyester, 8% rayon, 1% spandex, 1% nylon. These newer socks are not comfortable or durable. The sole is thin and cheap, and the seam between the sole and top is not sewed well and will fall apart. I should note that My previous purchase was in June 2016 while my most recent purchase was in September 2016. Also, both packages shipped from Amazon (and not an Amazon affiliated store e.g., NY Lingerie or C&R Clothiers). Even though I've worn the socks I have requested a refund... we'll see how well that goes....
