We bought it to help us keep up with our dark wood floors. They aren't terrible to maintain on my own since I only have two little girls and no pets, but I wanted it to do the vacuuming and then I could just wet mop and be done. My first impression... This thing is AWESOME! But after 2 weeks I was thinking "WHAT IS THAT"?! Sadly, I now have patterned scratches all over my wood floor. A couple of scratches wouldn't be a problem, heck, its a wood floor, but these are a 45 degree angle then a circle and another 45 degree and another circle, repeat, repeat, etc... RIGHT IN THE FRONT ENTRY WAY, and more in the kitchen. The thing is so loud, I couldn't hear the scratches being made. What good is a vacuum that you have to follow around to make sure it doesn't destroy your floor?
