Duracell beware - I am calling shenanigans on this marketing ploy. I have 4 identical BH lighted garlands in my home. As a test, I used standard Duracell Standard AA batts in 2 of them and Duracell Optimum AA batts in 2 of them. I then set them for timed display within minutes of each other for a 6 hr period each night. They ALL dimmed at the very same rate. There was no discernible difference in the light intensity as they dimmed to barely lit after 2 1/2 weeks of daily use for that 6 hour period. With this experience for this application, I would not spend the extra money to think I would get better results.
