Wi-Fi coverage was excellent, but after 8 months, the unit broke down. Suddenly, the internet light was not coming on and there was no internet access. Contacted TP-Link tech help. After different things they asked me to try failed to make it work, they agreed to replace the unit. It was an ordeal to create a new account, complete the information needed for replacement, and get an RMA number. After all this was done, they said they had no replacement AC5400 available and it could take 2-3 weeks, and that they could offer to replace with Deco M5 system, which is priced cheaper than AC5400. I advised them of my preference to wait for AC5400. After 3 weeks of waiting, when contacted, they said it could take another 3 weeks or more. As they kept delaying, I put pressure on them by complaining to BBB and California AG office. Finally, I received replacement after 41 days. They sent me a refurbished unit as replacement. I guess this will break down after a few weeks or months. Don't buy TP-Link routers. They make poor quality products and their customer service is horrible.
