I wish I would have seen Jillian M’s review before I purchased these sheets. She’s spot on. It’s completely baffling how these sheets can get so many high reviews. If you’ve ever had decent sheets, then these will most assuredly be a great disappointment. It’s been impossible to sleep completely through the night since using these for the last three nights. HOT TO SLEEP - NOT COOLING I sleep with the temperature set at 70-degrees, with one ceiling fan and two oscillating fans circulating the air. (This is my normal white noise and normally doesn’t bother me). I still wake in a sweat in the middle of the night. I’ve even had to turn my pillow over to have a non damp place to rest my head. TOO LOOSE OF FIT Ever hear of bouncing a quarter off a sheet? Forget it. Professor Ned Brainard couldn’t even bounce his Flubber off these babies. (Look it up if you don’t know). These sheets constantly slip off the mattress (yes, they’re the correct size). Sleeping on and under wrinkles and bunched up wads of fabric are a given. They just don’t stay put like a sheet should. SOFT FABRIC Oh sure, these sheets are soft. Kind of like the shirt you insisted your mom buy you when you were in Junior High. It was worn and washed so much that it became soft to the point of being almost see-through. Speaking of which, while putting the sheets on the bed, my wife lifted them up and with the backlight from the window behind her, I could literally see her through the fabric. HOTEL LUXURY? I’m scared to know which hotel they’re talking about when they describe these as ‘Hotel Luxury.’ That’s all I have to say about that. MY TAKE AWAY Save yourself some money and go down to your membership warehouse to buy some sheets. Sure, you may pay a little more, but it’s totally worth it to have decent sleep on decent sheets.
