The stories are actually good, just like the podcast. However, the horrible narration is just too distracting to the story. I want to like this, but can’t enjoy the jerky cadence of the narrator and his voice is not at all spooky or even emotive - just annoying. I made it through a whole episode and it was visually stunning. The voice over does not go throughout the whole thing - it does stop for some of the story to be told with actors recreating the narrative - which is why I gave it more than one star. That said, it does continue between these scenes, causing them to lose any effectiveness. I’m not sure I enjoy it enough to keep trying to get through the whole series. If they get a new voice over artist, then maybe I will try again.
