Reviews are a little hyped up. But, it might work.
I will write a second review after maybe a week of trying this mattress cover. I received it today and I will tell you that it’s super wrinkly and if you have pet peeves like me, it will bother you lol. Anyhow, I put it on my bed and at first it seemed cooling. But it warms up just like any other material in my opinion. It’s a hot day here in Texas so that could be why. My window shades are open so many it’s making the material a little warmer. I closed them and I’m going to see how it feels tonight. But when I napped a bit ago I didn’t feel a difference. It does add a little padding feeling to your bed which is kinda comfy. But I expected a fluffier feeing and I’m sort of bummed. It’s almost like sleeping on a cheap duvet. I do like the drip that it has to the mattress. I doubt it will come off if you’re a crazy sleeper like me who rolls around a lot. I hate when sheets come off easily lol. I got a Queen size for my Queen size mattress but it was slightly (ever so slightly) small and tight. But I’m assuming that’s to keep it in place with a good grip. Material is thin but I see good stitching so far. This cover does make me feel a bit more cozy as I lay down. So that is a total plus. Almost like sleeping on a thin but comfy cloud. It picks up dog fur very easily as well as dust, but I lint roll it. I tried putting a sheet over it but the sheets come off easily. So I’m just using this as a sheet. If you need some fluff to your bed, this will add a tidbit — but don’t expect a whole extra layer of fluff.
