I don't "hate" this thing, but I found it to be a really good idea "in theory", but in practice it just wasn't useful. My definition of useful being: 1. It saves me time. 2. It makes my edges tidy. 3. It saves me from making mistakes that I have to fix. 4. It saves me from taping. On all accounts it fails. It doesn't get right into corners or other tricky spots, so it's basically only useful on long straight edges. And then I found the paint went on too thick in some places, and I was constantly refilling it. Putting it on the wall and starting a line is where you are most likely to make a mistake. I found I would have to go back and do touch up work with the brush and a wet rag. In the end I decided to just practice having a steady hand, a good brush and learn how to cut in by hand. This was a better result. Would I buy again? no. Would I recommend to a friend? no. Maybe with some product refinement.
