I thought I was going to love this idea. Good idea bad product. After one year I pulled a toilet and I was sadly surprised to find the green outer layer de laminating and the foam inside saturated with water. This was not going to be good. Now I have two other toilets I have to pull and use what has always worked, wax. I cant imagine how many customers are unaware of seepage going on under the toilet. If anyone wants pictures I can send them. Do Not take the chance you will get water damage. I was lucky I needed to pull the toilet for other reasons and found a faulty product. UPDATE the owner of the company called me the next day after receiving my review. He was truly concerned and we had a good conversation. He stated they have done extensive testing on this product and did not know of any reason for this to happen except if the seal was exposed to large amounts of chlorine which is not the case in my home. I will be sending the seal to him so they can evaluate what caused this problem.Update as of 9/27/2015. I sent the seal to the company back in April. I have not received any information on any test results. Wont be using this product anymore until I get some answers. Cant even imagine the consequences of a plummer installing this product for a customer and then having a wood sub floor rot out a year later.
