BEWARE
I began taking this product about a year ago. Having lived with stomach issues for about a decade (IBS, gastritis, Celiac disease), I am no stranger to stomach pain. I picked these probiotics up because they are certified gluten free, vegan, and soy free. They seemed to help at first... My skin was clearer and I was able to go to the bathroom normally. However, after a couple or months I began experiencing a gnawing, burning pain under my ribcage on the left side. Fearing an ulcer, I visited my doctor who diagnosed it as gastritis and prescribed a PPI. Flash forward two months and I was in agony. Severe, debilitating burning, gnawing, diarrhea, nausea. I couldn't eat anything without getting sick, not even applesauce. The doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong. By chance I went on vacation for a week and forgot to bring the probiotics with me. Miraculously, half way through my vacation, the pain disappeared. No more burning, no more cramping. I even drank coffee for the first time in months with no pain. When I came home and started taking the probiotics again, the pain returned worse than before. I haven't taken the probiotics in about a week and I feel better than I have in months. My stomach is not completely normal, but I am positive it was this product that was making me ill. Perhaps I'm allergic to something in them, or perhaps they're simply too potent for my stomach. Just beware. This product made my life a living hell.
