This was delivered to me on April 30, 2019. It is now August 26, 2019. As you can see from my first photo, this was not installed under a steady stream of water. It is on the opposite wall of our shower head. I have followed the instructions exactly, running it under warm water to adjust the temperature. That part worked fine. But almost from the beginning, the backing began flaking off. About 2 months ago, I noticed what I thought was a 'stain' on the front, but now the front is flaking off to the extent that I can see right through from front to back. Soon it will be just a 'window' on my shower wall. It has only been 4 months, for a product that is touted to last 'a lifetime'. It's not worth returning now and I will not buy a replacement or accept one from the manufacturer. This is not worth the price, even though the price was low. I will look elsewhere for something that will hold up better. I do not recommend this product. Edit - I received a note from the company. They are sending me a new product, a mirror that has a special coating on it made for our circumstances, the use of a water softener and well water. If this product is an improvement, I will update my review of the product. The customer service so far has been great! Edit #2 - I received my replacement mirror several weeks ago. It does have some sort of covering on the back of the mirror. Unfortunately, this does not seem to help. I have already noticed deterioration of the backing similar to the first mirror. So as a final review, I cannot recommend this mirror, original or replacement. It just does not hold up under normal circumstances.
