Not even useful as a paperweight.
I've been a PC builder and working in the industry for 20 years, and this is the single most disappointing hardware purchase I've ever made. Before today I never imagined there could be so many things wrong with a single product. First, let's start with the thing most immediately obvious when you open the box: This is not a Bluetooth PCIe card. It's a WiFi PCIe card, with a separate USB bluetooth adapter physically attached to it, which requires an empty USB pin header on your motherboard to plug it into. If you're plugging this into any proprietary store bought PC, then you can just forget it -- no bluetooth for you! The second thing I noticed was when I tried to install it anyway to test it out. The card apparently has some kind of critical fault in it, because just by plugging it in, it causes the computer to crash every few seconds, usually before it can even boot up. Third: There is no driver CD, and is not compatible out of the box with Windows 10. It's a network card that requires you to download the driver online. You do the math. Could it be that if you're buying a PCIe desktop wireless card it could be because you don't have a wired internet connection for your desktop? I'm not just disappointed in this failure of a product at this point; I'm angry at the people who made and sold it for wasting my time. At $40 for this worthless thing, they should be paying *me* to return it.
