I got the Indigo color for my blonde highlighted hair because I just needed a change. I was getting my hair done a month later anyway so I figured worst case scenario... I'd be stuck with bad looking hair for a month- no big deal. Well, the indigo color was GORGEOUS and it did begin to fade fairly quickly after a few washes- and turned blue. Like... if you picture the color blue- like the crayon- that's the color it became. Still very pretty- I wasn't disappointed at all. My issue isn't with the color. It's the fact that even after however many washes in the past 2 months it's been, my hair is still very much blue. There's no fading of the blue. It's absolutely not a semi-permanent hair dye. I truly do not think it is ever going to just come out on its own. I've used semi permanent dyes before that fade over the course of a month or so- fully. My hairdresser kind of worked around it to tone it down a bit, but we're basically going to have to dye my hair completely brown (natural color) and put in all new highlights. It's not that the blue doesn't look pretty, but I don't really want it FOREVER. I might try their color fading shampoo... but I'm a little nervous to screw around with more products. So my review is basically: Color: 4 Stars, I personally love both colors, but 4 stars because it completely changed color and some people might not like that. Semi-Permanent: 1 Star, it's not. It's with you forever and ever and ever.
