Our family bought this for mainly for an elderly family member who just moved in with us. It was just what we thought an added bonus for the rest of the family. I can say I had a very short experience with this product very few uses. I sent it back after doing some testing. I'm training to be a Building Biologist and an electromagnetic radiation specialist. More and more of the world is waking up to the health dangers/concerns of man made EMFs (electromagnetic fields). If you are 100% convinced with a closed mind that man made EMFs pose no health risk/effects what so ever then this review is not for you. If that describes you I hope you will open your mind and look at the loads of non industry funded research (even industry funded research shows negative effects many times) that is very concerning for all biology on earth. You can continue to use all the modern technology at your own peril. Anyways with all that out of the way the reason our family sent this back shortly after receiving it is this product has absolutely astronomically high electrical fields. It is like sitting on a giant bundle of unsheidled energized wires. I tested this with my NFA1000 a professional level 3 axis electrical field and magnetic field meter. If you put this meter up to most cords and set it right on top of the cord it might be between 100-400 v/m which is high but usually you aren't sitting on top of cords. This product was testing up into the 1600s most of the time it was 1000+ anywhere on the toilet seat area. Highest electrical fields of any product I've ever tested. You'd have to stand right under a transmission power line to get higher. Being the government doesn't mandate any real health standards related to any EMFs most manufactures don't care and can even lie about their products with no consequences and their EMF levels. (although of course no claims are made on this product) I realize you aren't sitting on the toilet all day but but it's more then a few minutes several times a day for many people it is concerning for our family. All levels of man made EMFs (electrical, magnetic, radio frequency and microwave frequency radiation) have an effect on biology. Many people are rightly concerned about wireless radiation but forget about the other two parts of EMF. If you don't believe anything I just wrote that's fine and of course your right to do so. I wasn't that impressed with the performance of the product EMF health concerns aside. It did not clean me 100% and significantly increases the time you spend on the toilet. You can wipe your butt pretty quickly even wiping multiple times. With the wash and dry time you will most likely spend 7+ minutes on the toilet every time you go number 2. If your of the opinion bidets are just great because they save toilet paper which is true but they use power (a lot of it) and our power rates where we live just doubled this year. There is no free lunch. Maybe this product with some adjustments that I didn't make would have performed better as far as cleaning but with my EMF concerns I'm sending it back. If the manufacturer wants to reach out to inform me they have shielded their massive electrical fields in a future version of this product I'd be willing to give product another go. For what it costs (even on massive sales) they could afford to build shielding into the product...
