transparency needed in Kindle market
This is another example of Amazon lumping together reviews of different editions. Until Amazon requires that all Kindle collections list their contents, buying collections will remain a shot in the dark.
I bought this because one of the viewers mentioned it containing several stories I was interested in having in electronic form such as "Investigations of a Dog". And perhaps the paper edition does contain them. But upon purchasing the Kindle version I find it contains only "Metamorphosis". "In the Penal Colony" "A Hunger Artist" and "A Country Doctor", all great works, but ones that I already have in another electronic edition.
This is a good book for someone who doesn't have these stories already. But we all deserve to know what we are buying, and until vendors stop playing on these ambiguities and tell us up front, and until Amazon stops lumping together reviews of paper and electronic editions, the Kindle book market will not be a place where we can buy in confidence.
