The point of a scale is to get a precise weight, especially if you're doing SHIPPING for an online business where the price of shipping goes up as the weight of a package goes up even by one ounce This scale weighs my pocket knife at a rounded number of 250g but my smaller, more precise pocket scale weighs it at it's TRUE weight of 241.28g I even weighed the instruction manual that came with this scale, as you can see you in the pictures I uploaded, and it doesnt even register that something is on the scale it but my smaller pocket scale registers the exact weight of the manual I really wanted to like this scale especially because it has the reader on a cable so you can place large objects on it and still see the reading If I wanted a rounded general weight I'd ask my friend Bob. You can hand Bob any object and ask him for the weight and he'll tell you it weighs "probably bout 2 pounds" and he would be as useful as this scale
