This camera appears equal to the XT which can now be had on Woot dot com for $59. I have about 8 of them. The XT2 is supposed to bring two-way audio to the party. It does, but with two fatal flaws-- 1. The audio emitting from the camera to your visitor is virtually un-usable since it is of very low volume and very metallic narrow audio spectrum sound. In a quiet environment with little road noise, I doubt your visitor would even recognize someone was addressing them. 2. If you are like me, your front cameras are on a dedicated sync module. If you add the XT2 to the same sync module, you will have to wait until all of your motion-activated driveway recordings conclude before you can even open the live view which is necessary to initiate a conversation. If your visitor is moving around on the porch, they will keep triggering the motion recording and you will not be able to break in with your audio, or listen to them. You will have to wait until all motion-activated recordings stop before you can talk. I suspect that means you will need to purchase an XT2 with a sync module so you can dedicate it to the two-way conversation camera which probably should not be set to motion activate since that would cause you to have to wait to talk until after it is done recording. In a multi-sync module environment, you would have to have the presence of mind and practice to be able to receive a motion alert from your cameras (which by the way alerts are sent after the recording is completed), open the Blink app, view the motion clip, switch the app over to the 2-way audio camera sync module, activate live view, press the talk button, hope they can even hear you and your audio will be on a 2 second day, then listen... Save yourself the experimentation time. Don't buy the XT2 for the 2-way audio, it is not up to par. If you need more cameras, buy the old generation from woot at a discount as long as you can. The video quality is identical to the new one and it is $40 less than the new model. After submitting this review, I'm processing my return of the XT2.
