★★☆☆☆
NOT SAFE FOR DIABETICS, and not suitable for keto.
Eating the serving size produces a large BG spike if you're diabetic, much much greater than the "2g sugar" on the nutrition label. I'm Type 1 diabetic with a CGM and an A1C of 5.6%, and confirmed the spread spikes blood glucose by eating a serving size in isolation 3 times while monitoring with the CGM. If you're on the keto diet, this means the spread would produce an insulin spike. To make matters worse, the seller responded with this joke of a condescending reponse: "A rise in blood sugar occurs NATURALLY when people eat". I've been Type 1 for 16 years. Sure, a slight increase would be expected from 2g of sugar. This though, produces a major increase because of disguised high glycemic index ingredients, far beyond the scope of what 2g of sugar should do. They don't understand their own customer base. The spread is practically liquid but tastes alright.
