Was excited to try this and couldn't wait for it to arrive. Being that activated charcoal products seem to be one of the new beauty fads, I wanted to give its whirl. I have rather dry skin with almost zero pimples or blemishes. I used the product the same night I received it just after I washed with makeup remover. The product applies well and had a very "refreshing" smell and feel. Tingly... reminded me of mint. Used the product again on night two. Big mistake. The next day my face broke out in an all over mini pimple fest. I had them all over my face. It especially around the area where a man would have a beard. It was ridiculous. Shortly after I noticed the mini volcanoes on my face, bright pink/red blotchy spots started to appear. I was so embarrassed. Days later my face started to peel around my forehead and just below my nose. Maybe it brought out everything that was hiding down below but I wasn't prepared for this. I use Neutrogena & Glam Glow products regularly and have never had any issues. I never break out and may have a pimple every 6months. Please do a test spot before using! You've been warned.
