A fantasy book is not the correct forum for personal political views!
I gave up on this book around the 20% mark when the author started giving the reader, (me in this case), his personal view of feminism, political correctness and equality in a fantasy MMO.
I don’t care if a person is female, male, Republican, Democrat, Christian, Muslim, Gay, Straight or if they hear “GOD” in their head. However, I read fantasy, board and sword and LitRpg to get away from the problems and issues of today’s society. NOT to read about someone else’s real world opinions.
To sum up, let me say, I don’t appreciate spending my hard earned money so someone else can sneak their personal world views into a fantasy story in an attempt to proselytize.
Yes it was only $5 but the amount isn’t the issue. The issue is that the author seems to believe his personal views should be forced on the rest of us!
