I really wanted to like these because Nespresso pods are so pricey. Unfortunately they didn't work well in my Pixie machine. I have had my pixie for 9 months and use it every day. I tried two drinks with 2 Bestpresso shots each. I noticed the espresso didn't come out of the machine like original Nespresso pods. At the end of the cycle, it wasn't flowing it was just dripping. Eventually my machine stopped working.The lights were blinking like they do when it is heating up but they didn't stop. My assumption is that it overheated. I unplugged it and tried 2 Nespresso pods to see if maybe it was a coincidence and I just needed to clean my machine. The original pods worked as well as they always do. Full flow the entire time. I also noticed some very small grounds in the cup when I used these pods which I haven't noticed with the originals. These plastic pods work differently than the originals on the non foil side. They have 3 prongs that pop up. I'm assuming that's where the grounds came from although I'm not sure. You can see the difference in the photos. I thought the taste of the espresso was good, I just don't want to possibly ruin my machine with the overheating. I am in the process of returning these pods. I got an email directly from Bestpresso saying to contact them with any concerns and they would do their best to help. I really appreciated the customer service but how can they help between the pod and the machine? I clicked on the link and it led me back to Amazon so I just thought I'd write a review instead. I hope if you order these that they work for you.
