Three stars is probably being a bit generous...............So here we go. My four year old requested a unicorn. Odd requests and so when my wife stumbled onto this item she thought we had found the perfect Christmas gift. Purchased it boxed it up and waited for Christmas morning. On Christmas morning our four year old was quite happy to see a large beautiful(to her) unicorn with a wonderful name like Star lily. It took us a few minutes to navigate the complex packaging typical of many children's toys these days. After releasing it from bondage we realized it was doing nothing. A quick check showed it to be "batteries not included". I am not taking any stars off for this. We should have been more diligent. So now we must rummage through the house trying to locate C batteries. We find three. It takes four. After McGuyvering a AAA cell to fit we power the toy on. Our four year old can finally interact with her and all is good. Only one star has been removed from the product because to this point it is pretty much delivering a solid but under performing product We purchased a cheap tablet for her to use with Star Lily and the app. This is where the other two stars go. Absolute rubbish. It took us thirty minutes and lord knows how many attempts to pair the tablet to Star Lily. The other reviews seem to show this being a common problem. The tablet has to be paired EACH time they are used together. That is a joke to make a product aimed at young users that is absolutely broken. I would return the item for being so defective and flawed. I cannot because there is most likely a special place in hell reserved for parents that take away a child's unicorn. Approach this product cautiously
