So, I excitedly opened the box when this oven was delivered, unwrapped the accessories and gave them a wash, sat and read through the manual, did the Anti-Stink pre-use heating process, and set about deciding what to cook first. So, after checking the heating requirement and setting the oven accordingly, I was soon baking a french bread pizza on the baking pan (it said to use the rack, but my mind set was along the lines of, pizza with cheese, above exposed heating elements... oily foodstuff melting and dripping + extremely hot electrical elements = fire... Anyway, a loud POP !!! was heard. I went into the kitchen and peered into the oven. The baking pan looked like someone, very strong, had grabbed the sides and twisted. 1 Star, because even in today's throw-away society, I don't expect to have to replace accessories after LESS than half an hour's use. Hamilton Beach, yes, I'm looking at you. You get to choose which category you fall under. You're either: A) Negligent for not testing the materials that the accessories are made of to an adequate heating stress test, or B) You're incompetent for knowing it's not heat rated high enough and supplying it anyway. Made a pretty good pizza though.
