I've been buying these same Baffin Booties for years now, always in the same size. I started with a black pair, then I got Hyperberry, then whatever they call the cyan colored ones, and finally another pair in hyperberry that I ordered last week. I LOVED these booties, and I wear them pretty much 100% of the time that I'm at home. They're not hot in the summer and they're so warm and snuggly in the winter. The reason for my 3 stars, however, is that they seem to have changed them somehow. There are minor differences, like the fact that the toggles that are used to tighten them have changed over the years. Other than that the first 3 pairs were all equally as comfortable and I never considered another slipper. This most recent pair are shaped differently somehow though. The fitting that sits around your ankle, the part that you have to slide your foot through to get them on, has become more narrow than the previous ones. They're not quite as comfortable to wear because of this so I find myself taking them off after a few hours to give my ankles some space. They're also much harder to get on. I've had them for a week now and they're just finally stretching out to the point where I can get my feet in without a struggle. I have a bit of high arches so I've never really been able to get my feet into boots very well, and the section of the top of my foot directly over my arches tends to rub on material or into boots if they don't have room, and I'm now getting a similar feeling with these booties. I'm very disappointed and would probably have returned them if I didn't already know that they're great at stretching out over time. I trust that in another week or two they'll be closer to the comfort level I wanted, but I don't think they'll ever fit quite right on my feet, and after this pair I'll be looking for something different to replace them with, sadly. As for the wear, they will probably disappoint you a bit for the price. I got used to how quickly they wear down and just accepted it because of the extreme comfort from wearing them. I am home all day every day, and I wear them around the house, so my use is definitely more than most. Even with that considered, I got my last pair from my husband for Christmas and I just replaced them because there was a hole in the bottom. The non-slip grip printing on the bottom tends to wear out within about 4-6 weeks of my regular wearing of them, but as I wear them so much I've never complained because I think it would last MUCH longer if you just wore them casually for a bit in the evenings most nights. Even with the lettering mostly worn away, I've never had problems with slipping on hard wood, tile or carpet in these which is one of the reasons I loved them so much. Overall I would say that I offer a qualified recommendation. If you don't have high arches, if you don't wear them all day or you don't mind replacing them twice a year, then they are very comfortable and they work well in the summer or winter for me. Update 7/24/16: No sooner did I post my review than I found that my practically new Baffin Booties were coming apart at the seams along the sole. I am in the process of returning these and I no longer recommend them. They used to be higher quality and more true to fit. I'm not sure what they've changed over the last two years but it was not for the better. If you really want these, order one size up and know that they probably won't last long.
