I may find some use for this attachment but, basically, it broke my dryer. I tried to use it to clean the lint vent. The hole was too small to really pick up big clumps of lint and all it did was shove them further down the vent where they caused the thermostat to burn out the next time I ran the dryer. It cost me $195 to repair. That might have happened eventually (maybe months or years later) if the lint had continued to accumulate but it would have been better to hire a professional to clean it. I watched carefully as the technician took the dryer apart to get to the thermostat and I'll probably try to clean it myself once or twice a year from now on.
