Using a Spigen Rugged Armor case on a brand new 44mm Apple Watch with this. Installation was really a breeze; the application method is quite different than anything I've ever used made from the TPU material. The protector has a very similar feel to glass, no rainbow effect or distortion. It seemed it would be the perfect protector. After a few days, the bottom right corner began to lift. I smoothed it back down but it just kept happening. After a few days of this nonsense, I attempted to install another one. This one would not come off the top layer onto the screen. I tried another, which had hash marks of distortion in the film right after application. They never went away. I installed another one, this time the top right corner began to lift after a few days. So it would appear it has to do entirely with the case (likely the most popular option you can order on Amazon). So finally, I tried a protector and left the case off, just to see if it would survive. After only a few nights sleeping with the watch on, the corners still lifted. I really wanted to like this protector, and I think it would be near perfect if the adhesive was a tad stronger, and they had better quality control. Like I said, the application method is really unique and hard to mess up...unless there is a lack of manufacturing consistency which I seemed to deal with on mine.
