We bought a Nespresso Aeroccino 3 for our son as a gift and it worked so beautifully, we decided to purchase one for ourselves. Our first Aeroccino did nothing but heat the milk, so we assumed there was a problem with the unit. Our replacement was sent out immediately and we received it the next day. The same thing happened - no froth, just warm milk. Over the period of trying out two brand new units, we used whole milk, skim milk, fresher milk, organic milk - nothing worked. I can only assume the problem is either a flaw in the design or a quality control issue since some people have experienced great results and others have not. I'm not sure why this would be. However, we've returned both units and are going to try another company, altogether. For the price, there is no excuse for failing to deliver something as simple as frothed milk. Our glass manual pump makes superb frothed milk at a fraction of the cost.
