Our Fleck 5800 water softener has worked for about 3 weeks since we purchased it on Amazon in May of 2018. 1) We purchased a FLECK 5600 unit. We received a FLECK 5800... with instructions for the 5600 and a few notes for the 5800. We were left to figuring it out on our own and guessing how to program the meter. 2) We call Liquigen (Who must distribute for FLECK) and they offer very little help. Then they tell us to contact Amazon. Amazon puts pressure on Liquigen and it still takes 2 months to get replacement parts. 3) We finally get a replacement control unit on 2/4/19 ( Just a fews weeks later! But why hurry?? ) The new unit has a damaged LCD display that doesn't seem to operate correctly. So we would like this unit boxed up and returned to Liquigen. I would say this is some of the worst customer service I have encountered. We have very, very hard water and going without a softener has most likely damaged our appliances.
