Being a vet, I enjoy military-esque movies and can deal with a certain amount of inaccuracies for plot hole devices but from beginning to end, it seems they didn't bother to consult anyone on anything. I'm not a team guy but I just feel like if you're going to show horrible tactics, just use regular units. You might see a CBRN unit in a defensive circular formation with no cover... on a beach... in a depressed position being fired on from above during training or something but I'd hardly think they'd have Rangers on QRF, fast rope into sand, with no cover to be found. Especially if they're going to take over the compound completely anyway. Plus only one bird for overwatch? They didn't even bother trying. If you're going to make shows based on popular books, do it right. Name recognition alone won't make it a good show.
