I had high hopes for this air fryer, and ignored ALL of the reviews from buyers who said that the non-stick coating started wearing off very quickly. I thought maybe they were scrubbing it too hard when cleaning. Well... I am now having the same issues. I have only had this item for a little over 2 weeks, and have only used twice. I hand washed after each use with a soft non-abrasive sponge. And, while I will say that I do like the way it cooks, the removable basket and pan are both starting to flake non-stick coating - which is toxic. I guess you get what you pay for, and I will be looking to find a higher quality air fryer. Thankful I'm within my return window, this piece of junk is going back!
