This product needs to be recalled and discontinued!!! My 8 month old kitten managed to chew and break apart two of the wooden segments in this ball. You can see in my photos where it is missing the wood stick piece and instead is now just clear plastic cord. I also attached a photo of all the SHARP WOODEN SPLINTER SLIVERS the silver vine sticks broke into. My kitten was actively eating this when I noticed what he was doing. I quickly cleaned up the broken sharp wooden fragments off the ground. I then noticed a pile of puke that had wooden slivers in it. Unknowing if he had more sharp wooden fragments in his stomach that could perforate his intestines potentially killing him, I had to take him for an emergency appointment at the vet. It cost me $850 for the exam and x-rays. Luckily, my kitten will be okay but the ordeal was traumatic for us both. Please, for the safety of your fur babies do not buy this product!!!
