The masks are definitely on the large side. It covers a huge portion of my face. The straps are long too. I usually remove the strap retainers to make a mask fit but not on these. The extra layer inside to hold a filter is really pretty pointless. If you want a mask that really filters then a small inset in these is not going to cut it, just buy a real, qulaity medical-grade mask. I cut that piece out and they're much better. EDIT 12/23/2020-- I am dropping this to one star from three. BUYER BEWARE Seller has sent me spammy emails from different accounts asking me to remove this review-- every. single. day. Laying on stuff about how it's hurting them and if I just take it down they'll send me gift cards. Last email they said they were from '"Amazon costumer (sic) service." I have reported this to the real Amazon CS. Just got another one today ....
