Not Well Constructed
Edit: We ended up cutting this in half and making two planters out of it. It was pretty easy to do. This design is a waste of money and I'm not changing my mind or my review. These are the most expensive plastic planter's I've ever purchased but they came with drain holes.
This is not a very good design. Instead of making it a one piece unit with a separator between it they decided to build two pieces and attach them together at two points. Three attachment points might solve the problem. If you look at the picture you will see one of the attachment points between the two round lids. I noticed early on when I bought this unit that when I spin it the two halves tend to move towards each other between the attachment points. I now have a crack all the way through the attachment point. Only time will tell if the other attachment points crack and the whole thing becomes unusable. I've only owned the unit two months and the crack started almost a month ago. I would not recommend this compost bin. I would pass on the novelty of having two compost batches going at once and recommend a one piece bin, which I also own and have no complaints or issues with.
