I was really excited about this probe, but that was dashed when I realized that the blue tooth range while in a grill is about 3 feet. They say no worries just use the WiFi feature, but don"t tell you it must be connected to a separate device in order to accomplish this feat. I had to put my Samsung Pad under the grill just to get a connection to the device just so it would stay connected to my phone. Like Zak Morris, this device is trash!!!
