Makes a lot of noise 100 percent of the time. Actually works on the first try 25 percent of the time. When using the bags, it never fully sucks the air out like shown in the picture. I also use the containers, sold separately. I generally have to run it twice to get a seal. I'm no dummy, but this machine might be the biggest regret of my Amazon purchases. I'm going to reach out to the manufacturer, but I'm posting this review here until I can actually find the time to manage a machine I studied long hard before purchasing. I have wanted one for years, and finally broke down. Really quite disappointing.
