I just closed my Amazon rewards card with Chase. I didn't have the Prime card, but I still got 5% off because I'm a Prime member. I buy a LOT of things at Amazon as well as subscribe and save. I more often than not save money, don't drive all over town looking, and it comes to my door! However, Chase gave me a $500 ! credit limit although my credit rating is 800 on Equifax, and they wouldn't raise it to $1000 which I wanted because on a few occasions I hit the limit. I pay my full balance every month--as I do on all my cards. I don't need that. I'll just use my Citibank or USBank card for everything. I may not get as much of a reward, but I'm dealing with people that value their customers.
