This machine has very good price compare to the more expensive joyoung brand. And from the picture, it looks exactly the same in every detail. The quality is very good. Operation is very easy and it cleanup itself really good. It does everything it claimed to, I should be happy with it. However, I have an old soymilk machine. The old machine requires hand cleaning, and I have to drain the soymilk through a filter before drink it. The filtered soymilk is just perfect taste. The new machine (I guess all other more expensive ones) grinds very fine, and no filter is needed. The final soymilk is kind of dense, goo like. Even though very fine, you can still feel the okara at your throat. The problem is, because the okara is so fine, you cannot filter it. It clogs up a fine filter, or all pass through a coarse one. Too bad I still have to use my old soymilk machine. ————- Update after 2nd use: I down grade this machine to 2 stars, may be should be 1 star. For the first try, I was using soaked soybean, and I didnot like the result. I tried the machine the 2nd time with dry soybean and pure bottled water as suggested by the manual. I was trying to do a comparison with my old soymilk maker. It ended with spills everywhere. I then totally cleaned the machine, tried the 3rd time, with dry soybean. This time I monitored the whole process. First I noticed the steam comes out from the top vent, spilled on the top of the machine. Then when it was almost done, a thick chunk of okara spitted out to the front cup. After one second, it started to pour out more soymilk goo to the back waste water basket. Then later when the machine did the self cleaning and dumped the cleaning dirty water into the waste basket, it overflowed and caused the spill out. I believe this is a software error that prematurely dumping soymilk into waste buck, nevertheless should not happened.
