Nothing but WiFi issues
I am so annoyed with companies that make unsuspecting devices WiFi reliant. I thought this operated primarily by Bluetooth but I was wrong. This is an alarm clock it really shouldn’t need WiFi. Not everybody lives in a modern house! If it relies so heavily on needing WiFi they need to make that aspect better. My house was built nearly 100 years ago. “Cheap” WiFi devices don’t work but good ones like smart tv, cellphone, and laptop always work with a rarely any issue.
Using this device for 10 mins it was only connected half time! You can’t do anything in the app if it’s not connected making it useless as far as I could tell. After the 30th not connected message I decided this was not worth keeping.
Which brings to me another issue.
It doesn’t not come with a manual and it’s not available on the app or at least anywhere I could find it. It’s not exactly intuitive. The instructions it gives you are so brief and unclear at times. But I have no idea what it does without WiFi? Will the alarm still go off or not? Can you still do the wind downs? Who knows because apparently you have do a google search for the manual- not user friendly and again a major annoyance.
My short foray with app - the noises, lights, and alarm was the only good thing. I like the sounds it had, I like the layout of app, and the light was very bright. I definitely would have kept this. They need to make a device that doesn’t rely on WiFi.
