Razor Synapse, the software you need to edit the mouse settings, requires you to log in with an account. Here is why this is bad: The other day the Razer id and the synapse software wasn't accepting my previous password for some reason unknown, and it was only solved by resetting password. Due to this, by entering the wrong password 3 times, I was banned from logging (20m) into a fresh installed synapse , leaving me no way to configure my mouse until the lock was lifted and a new password reconfigured. TBH, the log in system should be optional for users that want to use the cloud, but never mandatory as it is now, because it can lock you from setting up your own hardware. I looked online and there is no work around for this. I will change my review when they add an "offline" mode.
