I have a child with special needs and I bought these due to her sensitivity issues. These are NOT completely free of seams. The seam may not be across the top of the toes, however there is still a small seam along the outside edge of the "big" toe and "pinky" toe. This design also creates a point or "bump" of stitching on each side of these toes which causes there to be extra fabric so that the sock does not conform to the foot. This is just as irritating as the seam being across the top of the foot. I have been trying out these socks for a couple of months to see if she would get use to them. I've even tried them with 4 different pairs of shoes. I thought the size might be the issue and bought 2 sizes smaller, however it is not. That small seam and extra point of fabric on the sides is still there, no matter the size. They do not stretch out to conform to the foot. The pictures are deceiving, they must have been photoshopped as they don't show what I am describing or have actually experienced.
