After struggling through 25 or so deaths (I didn't really keep that much of a count, it just felt like it because I was getting so pissed at not making progress to achieve just the first objective, reach the white shadow), I ejected this trash out and recycled it. Somebody wants to pick it up and play it, go ahead. Just watch for the insanity. I'm not sure why the developers made this so hard. People play at different levels, and I admit that I want to play games just to have fun. I have enough stress and tension as it is at my job IRL, so when I play, I want to have an easy time at it, one-shotting things, making progress. Returnal wasn't fun, since I couldn't even complete the first objective. No save points, either. Won't understand that one, in this day and age. Not everybody has the time to play for hours on end, like these Twitch streamers. If there was a save system, it would save your progress and then you could resume the next day. Forget this. Going to go back to playing Skyrim on the easiest difficulty, and hopefully that'll make me forget about this returnal nightmare.
