I am on my second Panasonic Nose and Ear Hair Trimmer. My first one died after six months. Tried a new AAA battery, nothing. I purchased the product again, thinking I must have done something wrong. Nope. The second device also died. I put a brand new AAA battery in and in the "on-position" there are only VERY VERY weak erratic spurts of the motor and only when the device is held at a 45 to 90 angle, totally insufficient to cut hair with. I tried. I do not recommend this device at all.
