This was on my wish list for Xmas. My daughter ordered it and it arrived before xmas, unfortuneately it had a big picture on all sides of the box of what's inside-(spoiling MY surprise for xmas) Luckily I was home when it was delivered or a theif would have had a great day as you could see the picture all the way from my street and my house is set back from the road. That is one of the downsides- The great features are the remote which controls the heat and massage. The Massage has levels of intensity, and you can target different areas (thighs,hips,butt,lower back, mid back and upper back) to be on or off individually or have as many on at the same time as you like- great if only one area is bothering you. I LOVE THIS chair! I want one in every room! The heat takes awhile to come on and only heats up the lower back area-Would be great if all the areas could heat up like they have the options for the massage to do. Also you cannot have the heat on at all -without at least one of the massage areas on- would be better if you could use just the heat feature with the Oil prices what they are, it would help me stay warm with less heat on in the room. This chair is very comfy for me and I'm 270 lbs! It supports my bad back in just the right place. One other downside is that if you're a clutz like me and always dropping things- be careful when you reach to pick up the dropped item while you are sitting in this chair-I almost fell over-chair and all, the first time I tried to reach for something on the floor while I was sitting in the chair! The base is just a ring of steel covered in the same fabric as the chair- not weighted. It tips easily, even when I try and get up out of the chair- I have learned to lean a certain way so I don't fall, It could be because I weigh a lot more than the average person and so, i'm not blaming the chairs design. I do not recommend this for elderly or disabled people who would have a hard time getting up if they fell out of the chair and it fell on them because of the way it tips when you lean and get up out of the chair. The massage really helps my fibromyalgia, arthritus, and degenerative disc diseased back. Over all I do highly reccomend this chair. I hope they upgrade newer models to have a heat only option and have the heat available in more than just the lower back area, add a weighted base and take the pic off the box.
