My dog suddenly had balding , crusting spots appearing on his back, tail, and behind. Took him to the vet and they couldn't quite nail his diagnosis, but prescribed a regimen to try to help. We changed his food to grain-free, washed him with a special medicated wash twice a week, gave him probiotics, but there was only a marginal difference. We figured it had to be some sort of allergy build up. Allergens in the air are prevalent in S. Texas. I read about CS and started giving it to him in his water and topically on the bald spots. It seemed to slow down the number of new balding spots but not completely eliminate. It also sped up the healing process of the old spots faster. Finally, I read another review of tackling allergens at the source. I figured he was breathing in the allergens, he should also breathe in the CS to get into the lungs. I bought a humidifier and put 3 dropperfuls worth of CS in every full tank and we used it by his sleeping area every night for a week. BINGO! Gone. His bald spots have stopped and have now filled in and he looks completely normal again! So happy. Uses for CS are endless. Thought I would provide one use case.
