I bought these fanny packs to use while snorkeling. I generally want to take valuables with me vs. leaving them in a hotel room. The fanny pack seemed to keep my belongings dry for most of the time I was in the water. By the last day (6 days of use - 1-2 hours per day), it seemed as if some water had leaked into the bag. It was hard to tell if water was leaking in or if it water got in when opening the bag. My husband and I both noted the first time we opened the pouch after using it in the water, some water dripped in from the folds of the pouch. After realizing this, I dried each fold and each section as I opened it to prevent water from getting into the pouch. I did put my phone in the pouch, but also put my phone in a Ziploc plastic bag for added protection. My final day in the water I noticed a small amount of water in the Ziploc bag that was in the pouch. It could have possibly been condensation, but I wasn't sure. I won't carry my phone in the bag on future snorkeling trips.
