This humidifier has a lot going for it. It is sturdily built and good quality. The digital controls and readout are clear and intuitive. I've been using this humidifier almost non-stop since I bought it a few weeks ago, and it's a reliable workhorse. The main reason that I'm writing a review, however, is to give others a heads-up in case they run into the same problem I did. The owner's manual helpfully provides a product diagram that identifies all of the parts. UNFORTUNATELY when you consult the section on how to clean the humidifier, it gives specific instructions on parts that are not identified in the diagram (transducer and plate), leaving one to wonder how to clean what apparently doesn't exist. I contacted the vendor and they responded quickly and helpfully by sending me a close-up of the diagram with the transducer and plate circled in red. They also said that the transducer and plate are the same thing. I've attached the drawing to help others, and suggested to the vendor that next time they print the manual, they need to correct the error first.
